Business Development Associate

About the role:

We are looking for a Business Development Associate to help us drive our growth and expand our market presence. You will identify new business opportunities and support our sales and marketing strategies. Your work will directly impact our ability to reach new heights and achieve our ambitious goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities
  • Keep up-to-date records of activities, accounts, contacts, opportunities and leads in Salesforce CRM
  • Execute go-to-market strategy in agreement with Sales & Business Development Manager and aligned with Sales strategy
  • Working closely with the Sales & Business Development Manager to identify key companies within a region and key people within target accounts, and plan outreach activities and strategy
  • Generate sales appointments and directly influence the sales pipeline.
  • Report to Sales & Business Development Manager on territory updates, industry trends, regional insights, competition news, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department for public posts, materials, and external communication

Skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2-year experience in business development or sales related roles
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Chinese language is a plus
  • Experience in CRM (especially Salesforce.com) a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team spirit and positive attitude
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Result oriented and self-driven, persistent person with an innovative approach
